Fiber
Innovations utilizes 55,000
square feet of
manufacturing
facilities in
Massachusetts.
These facilities
include administrative
and engineering
offices, a shipping/receiving
area, and separate
areas for braiding,
stitching, resin
transfer molding,
and QA inspection.
Facilities include
designated areas
for inventory
of raw materials,
finished products,
and scrap.
Fiber
Innovations made significant
investments in
the Joint Standoff
Air-to-Surface
Missile (JASSM)
Production Program
(Lots 1-9) to
commit dedicated
equipment and
facilities to
help meet the
manufacturing
delivery and cost
goal requirements
of the USAF/Lockheed
Martin JASSM program. This
included the expansion
of a state of
the art 20,000
square foot facility
dedicated solely
to the fabrication
of the JASSM composite
missile body and
wing structure
production. This
will help insure
low cost and affordable
composite manufacturing
capability for
the JASSM program
and any JASSM
derivatives. This
will also insure
the war fighter
